A bone china plate of Etruscan shape with a hand painted centre of a scene historically regarded as an early view of the Spode factory. Inner gilt line and border design finished with two gold bands around the edge, diameter 21cm, c.1815. This centre design was adopted for the Spode Society logo in 1986.
